Kate Savage’s artwork bends folktales and disorders cultural trappings in psychologically charged narrative imagery based in history and personal memory. In paintings, sculpture, and works on paper, art making is a kind of channeling process. Kate’s artwork has been exhibited at the Riverside Art Museum, Santa Monica Museum of Art, Torrance Art Museum, PØST gallery, LACE, and Ruth Bachofner Gallery in California, as well as across the US and internationally.
